2023-2024 Academic Year AKPA Chemistry Merit Scholarship
As AKPA Kimya, we support successful students with the aim of bringing qualified manpower to our country in accordance with the changing conditions of the new century, in order to create the information society of the future. We encourage students who continue their education, create education opportunities for successful and needy students, and provide scholarships to our students in 3 different categories (success, support, gifted and disabled) in order to close the staff deficit in fields that require higher education that our country needs.
AKPA Achievement Scholarship:
Students studying at high school, associate degree, undergraduate, graduate level can apply for scholarship if their general achievement average or semester achievement average is 3.75 or above, and 94 or above according to the 100 grade system, provided that they meet the conditions for scholarship application.
2023-2024 Academic Year AKPA Chemistry Support Scholarship
AKPA Support Scholarship:
Students studying at primary, secondary, high school, associate, undergraduate, and graduate level can apply for the scholarship if their grade point average is 3.50 or their semester grade point average is 88 or above in schools that apply the 100-grade system, provided that they meet the conditions for scholarship application.
AKPA Disabled and Gifted Scholarship:
Disabled and gifted successful and needy students studying at primary, secondary, high school, associate, undergraduate, graduate level can apply for one of the disabled or gifted scholarship types, provided that they meet the conditions for scholarship application, provided that they present the special institution certificate.
Full Support to Education in Tekirdağ
Tekirdağ Governor Aziz Yıldırım, Muratlı District Governor Bülent Uygur, Muratlı District Governor Bülent Uygur, Muratlı Mayor Nebi Tepe, Provincial Director of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Kaan Sinan Tohumcu, Provincial Director of National Education Ersan Ulusan, AKPA Kimya Chairman of the Board of Directors Kemal Darcan and AKPA Kimya Deputy General Manager Zafer Darcan signed a protocol on September 2, 2022 for the construction of a 16-classroom Secondary School, Indoor Sports Hall, Independent Art Workshop and Space Observatory in Tekirdağ Muratlı district.
Yacht Racing Sponsorships
TAYK Naval Forces Cup Yacht Race (22 - 25 July 2022) and TAYK - 250th Foundation Anniversary of the Naval Academy and 52nd Naval Forces Cup Yacht Race (15 - 18 July 2023) were sponsored by AKPA Kimya.
Assistance and Solidarity with Hatay Defne Women's Cooperative
On March 8, 2023, International Women's Day, we presented the products produced by the members of the Hatay Defne Women's Cooperative, which was affected by the earthquake, to our female employees. By sharing the efforts of the members of the Hatay Defne Women's Cooperative with our employees, we strengthened solidarity and worked to raise the hopes of the cooperatives in the earthquake-affected regions.
AKPA Children's Play Tent for April 23rd in Earthquake Zone
As AKPA Kimya Community Volunteers, we set up the "AKPA Children's Play Tent", which includes books, science sets and games, where 25 children can do activities, play games, read books, draw/paint, experiment, and where 25 children can do activities, play games, read books, draw/paint, experiment at the same time, in the container city of 500 people established by Bursa Nilüfer Municipality in cooperation with Samandağ Municipality for April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Turkish Sailing Federation Sponsorships
In order to contribute to raising a generation of sailors, AKPA Kimya built course wheels for the Turkish Sailing Federation to use in sailing trainings in order to contribute to the development of sailing sports.
FEZA Aviation and Space Team Sponsorship
Sponsorship was made to cover the material and equipment expenses of the International Free Mission UAV Competition 2021, which is included in the Teknofest 2021 activity program, in which the club receiving the sponsorship will participate. (June 2021-2022)
Sponsorship of Tekirdağ Sailing Specialization Club
In order to ensure that Tekirdağ's sea lovers are directed to sailing sports, AKPA Kimya Deputy General Manager Mr. Zafer Darcan has been involved in many activities for the development of the club. During the period when Mr. Zafer Darcan was the manager, many activities were carried out as AKPA Kimya for the development of the club. Supported the athletes to acquire new 420 boats and boat purchases were made (March 2021)

Let's Make Life Green Again
After the forest fires in 2021, AKPA Kimya supported the TEMA Foundation's call to "let's re-green life" and donated 4 saplings on behalf of each of our employees and their families to re-green our lost forests (July 30, 2021). The total number of saplings donated is 888.
We continue to stand by our people during the painful days of the earthquake.
As AKPA Kimya, we have cooperated with authorized institutions and organizations to meet the needs arising from the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and Pazarcık and affected many of our provinces. As AKPA Kimya, we continue to work with all our strength to heal the wounds of these painful and difficult days.
